Covid in Wales: When are you able to eat indoors and when do cinemas open?

More changes are taking effect as Covid restrictions continue to be eased across Wales following months of lockdown.

From Monday 17 May, pubs, cafes and restaurants can now serve indoors as Wales moves to Covid alert level two.

Indoor entertainment like cinemas, theatres and indoor play centres can also reopen, as can visitor attractions such as museums and galleries.

Wedding receptions and wakes involving up to 30 people can take place indoors, or outdoors with a maximum of 50 people.

Further easing to rules governing who you can meet in private homes is expected at the next review in three weeks’ time.

And more people are expected to be allowed to attend organised activities and events.

Who can I currently meet?

Extended households were reintroduced on 3 May.

That means two households are able to meet indoors and have physical contact – but each household can only meet one…
