All-rounder George Balderson has signed a new contract with Lancashire to run to the end of the 2026 season.
The 23-year-old academy graduate made his debut in 2020 and has played 54 games for the county in red-ball and 50-over cricket.
Balderson scored more than 700 runs in County Championship Division One last summer, including two hundreds, and also took 23 wickets.
“As a squad we are looking to push on and win silverware now,” he said.
“It has been brilliant to play so much first-team cricket, and to be part of such a talented squad competing at the top end of the County Championship and in the knockout stages of the white ball competitions.”
Balderson, a former England under-19 captain, averages 33 runs from his 48 innings with the bat in red-ball cricket, and has 66 wickets in total – but he has yet to play in the T20 Blast.
